Primary school at SSELC is the foundation: children consolidate the English they began in preschool, build their first written work in three languages, and start the Pearson curriculum — a UK-derived international system recognised by top universities worldwide.

How are classes organised?

Small group classes by grade level (Grade 1 to Grade 5). Each class has a homeroom teacher plus specialist teachers for Mandarin, music and sports.

How is progress reported?

Parents receive regular reports covering academic progress, behaviour and well-being. Parent-teacher meetings are scheduled each term.

Does primary follow on from your preschool?

Yes — children who finish SSELC Preschool transition directly into Grade 1 here. We also welcome new families joining at primary level.
